From one Coach to Another
Dear Coach Cassidy,
Remember the first time we met? I was a freshman and you were a senior at cheer tryouts. I was nervous and awkward. I mean who isn't at that age? You came to me and said, "Hi, I'm Cassidy!" Then we were kindred hearts and sister from then on. We were senior and freshmen buddies that year that we cheered together. I remember learning so much from you and being inspired by the women of God that you are.
Look at us, such babies. So happy.
Lets talk about how this picture. One: why are you and morgan back to back? Two: Look how completely awkward I am.
Look at our basing skills. Side basing on the left. Props given.
Notice my sleeves, they probably bothered you. Notice how pretty you are. Notice the red lips.
Aww look at that, we had some lovely times in those cheer days. We were so precious. We were strong competitors and really good friend. You were my big sister and an amazing role model. I was grateful for our opportunity to cheer together.
Now fast forward three years, and I get a facebook message asking me to be your assistant cheer coach. Naturally, the answer was yes. Then we started out journey together. There have been ups and downs. We have been twisted, stretched, and molded into strong women. We have laughed, grown, and become sweet friends. Okay, one more trip down memory lane.
Aww, look at us. Competition was fantastic.
Ugly Christmas Sweater Party. Which we promptly return those sweaters after it was over. Or did we?

The beginning of the end. Look at us. girl.
That was beautiful. Three years ago when we started coaching together, I never realized the tremendous impact you were going to have on my life. I could not imagine getting through this without you. We picked each other up in the hard times and celebrated with each other in the good times. We did it together. The road we went down had struggles and difficult moments, but looking back those experiences shaped us into the women we are and I would not change a single moment. I am impressed with our relentlessness and constant drive. I will cherish the time we spent together, the laughter that we shared, and the joy that we gained from coaching our girls. I can not wait to see what God has in store for the rest of your life. He is going to great things through you. I am so thankful for you. Our relationship is so much more than cheerleading coaches, it is a friendship bonded in love. I love you so stinking much!1 See you then I see you, until then my prayers are with you, and I hope it is someday real soon.
P.S. I promise to invite you to my future wedding. hahahaha
Always and Forever,
Coach Adina
