News Years Eve
Hey everyone!
I hope your holidays have been incredible and you have felt magic in this special time. As a college student this time is absolutely great. You have just finished finals, which is probably the worst week of the entire semester. Ugh, I don't even want to talk to you about it. Anyway, You've also just become a free bird for a month! OH SNAP! You get to enjoy time with family and loved ones. It is fantastic!
Enough about my random rambles. This year for New Years Eve, I am going to go to a party at my church and they are having a fireworks display. Yes. Fireworks and Jesus. It does not get any better. Except it does because my family is making nachos. For a Texan, this is a big deal. HELLO 2014 and queso! Then, after the fireworks display, I'm going to go watch the Texas A&M game and celebrate the new year! I'd love to hear about your family traditions and about what you do on New Year's Eve and New Year's day!
I thought I would leave you with a verse to ponder over the holiday in hope to encourage you for the new year:
This is, for me at least, something to live by. This year and every year, this is my anthem. It is such a simple verse with simple words, however it is incredibly powerful. It is a reminder that God's got your back. I'm so thankful for the unfailing love and the faithfulness of my Savior.
Happy New Years y'all!
Be bold. Be bright.
Adina
